I want you to know how much you have changed my life. Before I came to you, I was a very sad person. My physical pain had taken over my life along with the pills that I took to "deal" with the pain. I was hopeless about myself and about life. When I met you and participated in my first yoga class, it was the first time in a VERY long time that I felt hope. Before class even started, you showed me your scar and I instantly knew I was meant to be in Utah for a reason.
After a few classes, I began to have relief from pain -- physical and emotional. A few classes later, I walked out of one session in particular and felt NO pain. I still have my bad days but with your strength, talent, and love for what you do, I knew for the first time in a long time that I had a fighting chance at life. You are such an inspiration! You have helped me appreciate life, indulge life, and love life again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you have done for me in my life and in my recovery! I wish you the best and will never forget you! Namaste, Ashley

"Elise's class was my first real experience with Yoga and it totally changed my perception and made me a true believer. Her classes encourage you to push yourself, but to listen to and really try to understand your body. It helps you to grow in strength, and flexibility, but more importantly, it helps you find this very special spirituality. Elise doesn't just teach Yoga, she really knows it, because she loves it. These classes helped me in ways I never thought they could, I pushed myself, I listened to what she had to offer, I sweat like crazy, and my mind was opened to what yoga could bring me. The guided meditations were life changing, and I'm so appreciative of the opportunities I had to learn from her. It's not so much about the physical, it's more about the mental, the emotional, and the spiritual benefits you gain. Taking her classes for 3 months changed my life and helped me to start down this new path and I'll never go back. Thank you Elise!"
Davis M. "I met Elise at resident rehab. Due to a disease in my back, I was mostly crippled and using large amounts of pain medication to control the constant pain. Part of the rehab program was Yoga. At this point, all I knew about yoga was that skinny guys, wearing loin cloths that look like diapers, sit on the ground and contort their bodies in ungodly ways. I was very pleased to find out that this wasn't true. Elise taught me that yoga is all about strength and flexibility. She very patiently worked with me, and others, to put our bodies back together. She never pushed us too hard to cause any more pain. In fact, she encouraged us to back off if we were in too much pain. Elise taught me how to meditate, and find inner peace. Her laugh and passion is so infecting that makes you want to keep practicing yoga. Before I left rehab, I didn't have to use my cane to walk and my pain is in control. I’m still using yoga to keep my body working. I attribute this to Elise and her getting me into yoga."
